Step Two:
Find out the reason(s) PennDOT issued the suspension(s).

The reason(s) PennDOT suspended your license determine(s) what you must do to restore your driving privileges.

PennDOT tells you the reason(s) your licesne was or were suspended right on the suspension notice you receive. If you did not receive that notice or no longer have it, you must find out the reason(s) another way.

There are several was to determine the reason(s) PennDOT suspend your license. But the easiest and simplest was is to request a "restoration requirements" letter. The restoration letter lists everything you must resolve before PennDOT will restore your driving privileges.

The most common reasons a license is suspended are because of "indefinite" or "term" suspensions. Indefinite suspensions are, in general, issued for failing to do something. Term suspensions are usually issued as the result of a conviction.

Once you know why your license and/or registration was suspended, you must try to get rid of the reason(s).
